How it works
One sheet, all the way through.
Print. Sheets generate on schedule, per class and seder. The office prints them on plain paper — no special stock, no barcodes.
Mark. The rebbe fills one bubble per talmid by hand — present, or a late bucket you defined. That's the entire interaction.
Scan. Back at the office the sheet is scanned. Seder reads the ID strip and the bubbles; anything unsure goes to a person — never a wrong guess.
Report. The payoff prints itself: the missing report, addressed to the rosh haseder. Paper in front, everything counted behind.

Does the rebbe need a phone or tablet?
No. Seder is device-free attendance by design — the rebbe or teacher marks a paper bubble sheet by hand, and the only computer is back in the office for printing and scanning. Attendance without phones or devices is the whole point.
What scanner do we need?
Any office document scanner or a copier with a scan-to-folder feature works. The sheets are plain paper with a small printed number strip — no special stock, no barcodes, no QR codes. We confirm your exact hardware during setup.
What about Yiddish and Hebrew?
Both are first-class. Names, headings, and printed sheets render right-to-left, dates read in full Hebrew organized by parsha, and the interface is available in Yiddish. You can turn English dates off entirely.
How do report cards reach parents?
Weekly grades are captured on the same bubble geometry as attendance — no new hardware — and print as a clean report card the office hands or mails home. Nothing for parents to install.
What does it cost?

Is our data private?
Yes. Every mosad's data is walled off from every other at the database level (row-level security), attendance facts are permanent and append-only, and you can export everything you have at any time. Your data is yours.
What if a bubble is smudged or half-filled?
It never becomes a grade. A low-confidence read is flagged and sent to a person in the review queue to confirm — the paper attendance scanning is accurate precisely because a human settles anything unclear.
How long does setup take?
Most mosdos are live within days. We configure your branding, terminology, ages, classes, and sedarim for you — onboarding a new customer never needs code, only settings — and hand you a finished, branded product.
Does it work for a girls' school or Bais Yaakov?
Yes. Seder is a Jewish school attendance software as much as a yeshiva one — set the institution type to school and the terminology becomes grade, teacher, period, and student throughout the app and every printed sheet.
